Freddie sat on a swing in "Their" park, rocking gently back and forth, waiting for Sam to come. She had just come back from that therapy camp with her mom, and he was excited to see her again. He chuckled and looked over to Frothy who was in the cage on the ground right next to him. "I gotta say, you have been... Interesting... To be around."
Sam had walked up from behind him and a grin spread across her face as she grabbed the chains of the swing and pulled them back before giving him a hard push. "Talking to Frothy?"
He fell off the swings and groaned as he his the ground. "Hey, Sam!" he said in a way-too-cheery-to-be-sincere voice. He dusted himself off and stood up.
"Uhh." She said, stepping around the swing so she could stand in front of him. "That wasn't on purpose." She said, instead of actually apologizing.
He grinned. "You know it was." he pulled her into a hug. "I missed you."
She grinned as she hugged him. "It wasn't! I meant to push you *on* the swing, not *off* it! It's not my fault you have terrible balance."
He laughed and kissed her nose. "Whatever. So how was therapy camp?"
She groaned, "Horrible! Absolute torture!"
"Did you sort *anything* out?"
She shrugged. "I....worked out some new ways to win a fight!"
He let go of her and sat back down on the swing. "I missed you."
She sat down on the swing next to his. "I guess I kinda missed you too." She allowed, smiling. "What did you do while I was gone?"
"Um, well Carly and Mel were both either out of town or making out with their boyfriend, so I hung out with Tori, you know, from Los Angeles? Keenan's party? I also helped spencer with a sculpture."
Sam snorted. "That's all either of them do anymore, anyway." She said, rolling her eyes. Her tone lightened a second later, though, "Oh, Tori was here? She's pretty cool. And I know *somebody* thinks she is particularly good looking." She teased, without a trace of jealousy.
"Yeah, so gorgeous." he said, playing along.
Sam grinned, "I'm in trouble, huh?" She joked.
"Ohh yes. In fact, I'm dumping you. Right now. Fr Tori." he teased.
"Sorry, babe. I don't think she's all that interested in nerds." She said, poking him in the side.
"Aww, really?" he said, faking a disappointed look.
"Yep." She said, still playing along. "And now you are girlfriend-less and alone. Just as I always knew you would be."
He grinned, leaning over and kissing her on the cheek. "You're too awesome to ever leave."
She laughed, "Yeah, well, I am pretty great." She joked. "So, what was Spencer's new sculpture like, then?"
"Well, he thought bottle-bot would be lonely alone. Sooo, he created a 'lady' bottle bot out of pink painted cans."
Sam chuckled. "Of *course* he did." She said, shaking her head. "And what was your job?"
"I had to paint them pink." he grinned. "But... You know spencer has a habbit of setting things on fire??"
"Did he set lady robot on fire?! Did he set *you* on fire?" She asked, her eyes widening and a grin spreading across her face.
"Yes." he groaned. "No more lady robot." he looked at her weirdly. "Of course not!"
She chuckled. "Hey! I wouldn't put that past Spencer." She said, shaking her head.
He shrugged. "True."
She reached over and picked up that cat's cage from the ground. "So, how'd it go?" She asked, looking from Frothy to Freddie.
"Eh, it went alright. Scared my mom though."
"Uh oh." She said, "What happened?"
"I might have cat allergies. I don't. According to her I do."
Sam laughed, "Of course. Does she hate me again?"
"Nah, she still loves you. She just said that you should get more pleasant pets."
She laughed, "Yeah, well, at least Frothy's unique."
He shrugged. "True."
"So..." She said, trying to think of something to say. She grinned. "I bet I can swing higher than you."
He shook his head. "Impossible. I'm taller than you."
She smirked, "Height isn't everything."
OOC: I'm sorry I've been on so little today. Been really busy, and I'll have to go again soon until tonight. Really sorry.
"Oh yeah?" he started to swing, stretching his legs in and out.
OOC: No worries! I'm on tumblr/twitter/reading/tv so yeah. Lazy Sunday. :)
She began swinging too, grinning as she did so. "I'm going to win!" She taunted, as she felt herself rise higher and higher into the air, even though he was still a bit ahead of her.
OOC: Sounds fun :D
"No you won't!" he saw he was ahead of her by a bit and swung his feet out a bit longer and harder. "I'm gonna win!"
"Mama-" She felt her swing fly into the air again, Always--Wins!"
"Not-" He pushed even harder, pumping his legs back and forth, "This time!"
She could see she was failing to catch up with him so she tried a new tactic. "Frednub! Dare you to jump from your swing!"
"No!" he hollered.
OOC: Really sorry. Know I've been gone most of the day but I feel a bit sick so I may have to go soon.
"You jump!" he challenged.
OOC: Aw, I'm sorry! It's no problem! I hope you feel better!
OOC: Thanks! I appreciate it!
"If you do first!"
"Okay, if you jump with me!" he was going to act like he was goin a jump, but stay on.
OOC: Of course!
"Fine! On three!" She said, planning the same thing.
"Three!" he pretended to jump off, but kept a strong hold on the chains.
OOC: Still here, but may be slow and may disappear suddenly... Watching Emma. Seen it?
Sam made no effort to pretend to jump, instead she watched him. "Hey! Cheater!"
OOC: No, I haven't :)
"Hey! You cheated too!"
OOC: Based off the novel by Jane Austen... It's great! :D Okay, it's time for me to sleep, sorry. Night!
"Yeah, but you should just expect it from me!"
He stopped swinging. "Good point." he chuckled.
OOC: Cool! Okay, goodnight
She jumped off her swing. "I totally won."
"No way." Freddie looked around, and spotted the jungle gym. "Race ya to the jungle gym!"
"Your on!" She said, running.
"I'm gonna beat you!" he hollered, running fast.
"Woah! Freddie! Your moms here!" She shouted, trying to distract him.
"She's not!" he yelled back, realizing that he was a bit ahead of her.
Sam had an idea, she waited until she was a couple feet behind him then fell with a loud "Ouch!"
OOC: Sorry for the random disappearances, I'll drop a note in your ask box to explain. :D
He quickly stopped and turned, a concerned look on his face. "Sam!"
She held onto her ankle and twisted her face to a look of pain. "Ouch ouch ouch ouch!"
"Sam!" he exclaimed, dropping down beside her. "You okay!?"
"Sure! I'm fine!" She said, hopping to her feet and running toward the jungle gym.
"Aw, come on!" He took off after her, running as fast as he could. He finally caught up to her and put his arms around her from behind so she couldn't run away.
She laughed, struggling to free herself, "Let me go!"
"No way!" he started to tickle her.
"Stop it!" She laughed, trying to get away, "I--" She kept laughing, "Only-- Have-- One--Lung!"
He kept tickling her, laughing along with her.
"If you don't let me go--" She laughed, "I sick Frothy on you."
He stopped tickling her, but didn't let her go. "I'll stop tickling you."
Her laughter died down, "Good." She said, an amused smile on her face. "Are you going to let me go?"
He smiled. "Nope." He said, popping the 'p.'
"And, why not?"
"Because." he smirked. "You love it when I hold you."
She grinned, "Are you sure about that?"
"You don't?" he always had her ear-twitching problem.
"I don't hate it." She allowed, smiling. She didn't actually want him to think she didn't like it. Because he was right. She did.
OOC: Gotta go! Be back later, I hope!
"You love it." he teased. He kissed the top of her head, and let her go.
She grinned and ran for the jungle gym.
He chased after her, smiling.
When she reached it she looked around to see if he was there yet.
He had purposely stayed behind, letting her win.
She grinned at him. "I am victorious."
"Good job, baby." he chuckled.
"Thank you, thank you." She said, looking amused.
He climbed up to the top of the jungle gym.
She followed after him.
He looked around. "This park holds a lot of memories, huh." Even before their first breakup, they came here a lot.
She smiled, nodding. "Yeah. Sure does."
He put an arm around her. "I'm so glad we're together."
"I don't hate it either." She said, grinning at him.
OOC: I gotta go for a bit! I hope to be back later!
He kissed her lightly on the lips. "Good, I couldn't stand another breakup."
"Unless Tori started liking nerds." She joked.
"Nah, you're much better." he chuckled.
She grinned, "Aw. Baby."
"Mm." he looked down at her and smiled. If Sam could hear what he was thinking, she would probably slap him for being such a sap, but he was really, really happy that they were together. And amazed that someone so amazing and beautiful could ever love him. Him, nicknamed 'queen of nubs' by Sam herself. He was incredibly lucky.
Sam was thinking similar thoughts, as she watched him from the corner of her eye so he wouldn't notice she was watching him. The truth was, she was sure he was the greatest guy she'd ever met. He was sweet and kind, everything she wasn't, and he was genuinely fun to be around. She sometimes still wondered if it was real. "Hey." She said, poking him in the side, trying to forget her sappy thoughts. "You're a dork, you know that, right?" She said, in the tone she would use if she was telling him she loved him.
He was shaken out of his thoughts by Sam poking him. He grinned. "Yeah, and you're a blonde-headed demon." he said, in that same affectionate tone.
"What?" She faked shock. "No! I act like an angel!"
"More like a princess." he corrected, twirling a piece of her hair around his finger.
She chuckled. "Oh, yes, I act so princess-ey."
"Nah, you just look like one." he said, only half-joking.
She smiled. "Ha. Okay then."
He smiled and pulled her closer. "It's amazing how... You know. Just a couple years ago we were beating each other up. And now... We're dating. We kiss. We cuddle. We say 'I love you.'" he chuckled. "We've come a long way."
She laughed, "Yeah. We have. But you made a mistake... 'We' weren't beating each other up. 'I ' was beating you up."
He shrugged and grinned. "That's true. *You* were beating me up and *I* was being beat up." he corrected.
OOC: Aw, man! I have to go. I'll he back in about a hour, give or take a bit.
OOC: I think I might be here. Bye!
She grinned. "That's better."
He chuckled. "Those were the days."
"You miss them?" She said, raising her eyebrows and looking amused.
He laughed. "No way."
"Just making sure." She grinned.
"Yeah, please don't."
"Well, okay, since you said please."
OOC: Sorry for disappearing earlier. Internet issues. :(
OOC: That's ok, no worries. I'll probably be on, but my replies will be pretty slow. :)
OOC: Okay, cool :)
"Mhmm. Sure." She said, hopping down from the jungle gym.
He jumped down, following her lead.
She took his hand. "I don't hate you."
OOC: Sorry for the super slow replies :(
He squeeze her hand. "I really don't hate you either."
She grinned, "Good."
He smiled and turned her to face him. "You're beautiful." he said softly, pushing a piece of hair behind her ears.
Sam felt her cheeks burning and hated it because she was sure he would notice. "Thanks..." She said, with a small smile, suddenly very interested in staring at her shoelaces.
It was true. She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen, somehow even more than Ally and Mel, though they were identical. He had spent years practically worshiping Carly and her beauty, that somehow, he had never notice Sam. Of course Carly was pretty, in a friendly way, of course, but Sam... He couldn't describe it.
Sam searched for something to say and all she came up with was, "Hey! I want to look for snakes." She climbed through the bars of the jungle gym from where she had landed on the inside and began studying the ground.
"Snakes?" he chuckled. "Are there snakes there?"
"There might be!" Sam called back.
He joined her, but asked "What would you do with a snake?"
"Hide it under your pillow." She teased.
"Oh, no problem. Any time."
He chuckled. "Seriously though, what would you do with one?"
She looked at him. "Put it under your pillow." She said, with a straight face. Then she grinned and shrugged, "Nothing, really, I just wanted to look." She had just wanted to move away from him earlier, even though she knew he loved her and knew he thought she was beautiful, being watched made her self conscious. Something that she wasn't used to feeling, or that she wouldn't admit to feeling, anyway. So she'd suggested looking for snakes.
He grinned and began looking as well. "See anything?"
"Over there!" She said, pointing. But she was bluffing.
OOC: I'm so so sorry. The other night I had terrible internet problems and haven't been able to get online again until now... And even now I can't stay. I'm sorry!
"Really?" he asked, not noticing her lie. "Where? I can't see it.."
OOC: No problem! It's totally fine!
"On your foot!"
"What!?" he yelped, jumping up and shaking his foot.
OOC: So it's lunch break right now, but I'll be done with school in a couple hours, I think. Maybe a bit less.
She grinned at him. "Gotcha."
OOC: :( I time zoned changed on you.
He glared at her, but couldn't stop the small smile playing on his lips. "You just had to, didn't you."
OOC: you're back in the us?
"Well, yeah." She said, grinning and poking his arm.
OOC: Aww, I'm gonna miss you! Well, you know what I mean. lol
"Sam! Look out! Behind you!" he said, putting a scared look on his face. There wasn't a snake in sight, he just wanted to get her back.
"You can't trick me right after I tricked you, Gullible Freddie."
